A sad day for two friends of Vapresto:  One of our two remaining North Ronaldsay managed to get through an electric fence into the horse's field and was fatally kicked.  Later on the same day, Mitzi (our lovely grey cat) succumbed to a long deterioration and passed away peacefully in her sleep.  We will miss them both.

Sadly Vapresto Brave Tempest's 3 littermates were found dead when Storm underwent a Caesarean Section today.  We never knew them, but still feel that we have lost something today.  Our sympathies to those who were due to become their guardians and friends.

2002

They may be just livestock to some people, but our 'Ronnies' are very much loved pets. 

Sadly three of them (Charlie, and two of his 'angels') succumbed to copper toxicity in 2002
and are now buried in their very own memorial garden just under the rainbow in the picture above.

Charlie (centre) was particularly special - he always came to us when we called his name, and loved being stroked and fussed.  He even stood still for us when he was shorn or having his feet trimmed.

We miss them all terribly...
