March: Dad comes to visit! OK, so we didn't risk
showing him the pups, but Torr brought his human parents along to show them off
today, and re-aquainted himself with his girlfriend! Click the picture to

21st
February: Pups arrived! Between 2:30 pm and 6:00 pm Sky produced 8
apparently healthy puppies (5 males and 3 bitches) weighing in at a total of
nearly 2.5 Kg, so she is very relieved to lose that weight! We will try
and keep the photos updated on here as the pups grow up...
January 2006: Exciting News... After a marathon 6-day series of 'dates' (taking in 3 locations in Buckinghamshire and Devon) back in December, Sky is in whelp! We had her scanned today and there appear to be at least 5 pups on the way!
November 2005: We are planning a mating between Sky and Torr at present, and will hopefully be having puppies early in the New Year. Torr has been chosen as he is one of the most handsome dogs we have seen for a long time and has a wonderful temperament (as well as being a star in the show ring in the past). Also his pedigree includes Kyann Without Wings a few generations back, and we particularly like the fact that Kyann and Charbonny share Vapresto's belief that a good dog should look right AND have the enthusiasm and ability to work...

| Sky lives with my parents and does not compete in agility,
and although she showed promise in early training, our Frost & Blitz
(her litter brothers) took up all of our time!
She has been shown at breed shows on a few occasions, qualifying for Crufts at her first ever show and then beating 3 others into fourth place in her class. Sky's late mother is well known in agility circles - mostly for her enthusiasm (and noise) whenever she's within a few miles of some agility equipment!!! Storm absolutely lived for agility and recorded the fastest time of the day many times (but only twice with clear rounds - winning us out of Elementary & Starters)! |
Torr lives in Devon with the Huckle
family and earned his Stud book number (and a Crufts entry qualification
for life) by winning Open Dog at Bournemouth Championship show 1999.
Torr is a very lively and impressive dog, with a fantastic temperament. He regularly trains at agility and obedience, but mostly enjoys being a much loved pet and spectator these days! Torr's pedigree is almost a "Who's Who" of the breed, with breed Champions in all four Grandparents and many of the most influential Tervueren beyond - both in the breed ring and in working disciplines. |
